(Chicago, Illinois) Gary, IN, United States Steel Company wastes filmed. Company to have till 1980 to substantially reduce pollutants. United States Steel to pay near $4 million for not meeting next month's clean up deadline. [Environmental Protection Agency James McDONALD - thinks such agreement rare.] [US Steel L. Keith SMITH - believes agreement has much to do with company's priorities.]
