(Studio) 5 years ago, Watergate burglary took place. Carl Stern at Watergate Hotel; John Chancellor questions him about events of Watergate. [Carl STERN - believes Watergate broadest scandal in American history.] Questioned about threat to Const. [STERN - says no. Recalls incident involving Judge John Sirica.] Asks about equal justice for involvement in scandal. [STERN - believes equal justice prevailed. Believes Nixon, as reflected in Frost interviews, has met with justice.] No reason for Watergate; incumbent President Richard Nixon would have won election easily without Watergate.
