(Studio) Paris talks between United States and Vietnam center on MIA's and reparations. Vietnam says there will be 20 MIA's sent to United States; Americans make no agreement re: reparation.

(Paris, France) Vietnam no longer call aid requests "reparations," but still request it; United States asks for MIA (missing in action) information Chief negotiators are assistant secretary state Richard Holbrooke and deputy foreign minister Phan Hien. After talks there's word on MIA's. [HOLBROOKE - says new MIA (missing in action) list won't be public until confirmed identification made.] Negotiations to resume.
