(Studio) Differences in Senate and House versions of bills with regard to federal funds used for abortions cited. House votes against accepting Senator bill.

(DC) Neither House nor Senator conferees will budge in versions of bill before conference committee , so bill is taken before House to see if it could be passed as Senator measure is written. Is introduced by Representative Louis Stokes and opposed by Representative Henry Hyde; comments of both noted. House votes to reaffirm own version of bill. [Representative Elizabeth HOLTZMAN - is disappointed by vote.] [HYDE - is pleased.] If compromise not reached by Friday, money for all Department of Health, Education and Welfare and Labor Department programs will begin to run out. Ldrs. in both House and Senator say compromise will be reached.
