(Studio) Egyptian President Anwar Sadat's dispatch of message on Mideast peace talks to President Carter by Egyptian Vice President noted.

(DC) Egyptian Vice President Hosni Mobarak's meeting with Carter in attempt to break deadlock over linkage of peace treaty with future of west bank and Gaza Strip reported Mobarak's later meeting with Israeli defense minister Ezer Weizman, to explain proposal prior to Weizman's return to Israel, noted. [WEIZMAN - comments on Egyptian proposals.] Israel's objections to Egyptian proposal that future of west bank and Gaza be linked to Israeli withdrawal from Sinai stated; Sadat's modification of this plan outlined.
