(Studio) Report on division of opinion of West Warwick, Rhode Island, about Catholic school's requirement that students recite modified form of pledge of allegiance to flag, with anti-abortion clause in it.

(W. Warwick, Rhode Island) Saint James School principal Sister Mary Jane Ruisi's additions of words "born and unborn" to end of pledge, after seeing it in Knights of Columbus letter, noted. [CLASS - recites new form of pledge.] Response to change in pledge described. [RUISI - says only mother who complained moved children from school. Says general reaction has been 100% support.] Division of opinion in town reported [PEOPLE - state opinions.] Church officials' view of situation given.
