(Studio) Update on situation in Bordentown, New Jersey, which decided it could do without funds from state welfare program.

(Bordentown, New Jersey) Success of Bordentown's own aid program for residents in need noted. State's chgs. in court that town's action is illegal reported Comments of state official and legal aid society representative about town's move quoted. Judge's ruling that state law clearly says local community cannot pull out of established welfare system stated; his order that Bordentown must return to regular welfare in 3 weeks mentioned. Possibility of appeal reported Reaction of Bordentown residents and officials cited.
