(Studio) Recent discoveries of poisoned Israeli oranges in west Europe noted. 1st arrival of Israeli oranges in US, since European discoveries, reported.

(Gloucester City, New Jersey) Report on unloading of oranges at dock near Philadelphia and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) spotchecks of them for mercury poisoning. Ship's delivery of oranges to Canada and lack of evidence of poisoning there noted. [FDA (Food and Drug Administration) spokesperson Loren JOHNSON - doesn't expect to find poison in oranges; notes previous exams. of same shipload in Nova Scotia.]
