(Studio) Coal miners begin voting on contract; mixed reactions to it noted.

(West Virginia) Report on early returns from Mud Creek local in Floyd Cnty., Kentucky. [Local president Chester NEWSOME - says men just want to get back to work and that no man gets all he wants, but he can work under contract.] Local secretary Harold Newsome's report on outcome of voting cited. Opposition in other areas, especially in West Virginia, described. [MINER - says contract is less than former con- tract.] Mtg. at union hall near Big Coal River in West Virginia noted.
