(Studio) Teamsters president Frank Fitzsimmons' failure to show for disciplinary hearing in Washington, DC reported.
REPORTER: John Chancellor
(DC) Teamsters mbrs.' protest march outside hearing room as way of airing grievances against Fitzsimmons noted. [Teamster Peter VITRANO - cites some complaints members have against Fitzsimmons.] Fitzsimmons' representative by attorney Mozart Ratner mentioned. [RATNER - won't tell reporters where Fitzsimmons is or if attorney has talked to union president Says Fitzsimmons won't show up for hearing.] Appt. of board of inquiry by friends of Fitzsimmons and belief by most involved that nothing will be done in case stated.
