(Studio) Convictions on espionage chgs. of former government employee Ronald Humphrey and Vietnam expatriot David Truong at federal court held in Alexandria, Virginia, reported.

(Alexandria, Virginia) Court proceedings detailed; testimony outlined, include that of former United States Information Agency employee Humphrey about giving information to Truong, who is son of former presidential candidate in South Vietnam and who gave information to Vietnam representatives Defense attys.' plans to appeal on grounds that FBI illegally tapped Truong's telephone stated. Carter administration's statements that this case is test of President's powers to wiretap suspected foreign spies without warrant noted.
