(Studio) Report on findings of California researchers using pigs to test theory that jogging is good for the heart.
REPORTER: John Chancellor
(San Diego, California) Details given of research about jogging and its effect on heart and circulation, using pigs as test animals, by Dr. Max Sanders, of U. of California in San Diego, and colleague. Is found that experiments show no incr. in collateral circulation to be gained by jogging. [SANDERS - says expectations were to have found increase in coronary collaterals, but they didn't.]
