(Studio) Govt. closing in 1971 of nuclear research site northw. of Atlanta and declaration that it was safe noted. Later discovery that it wasn't safe, government's failure to do all it could to keep people out and present government investigation of situation reported.

(Dawsonville, Georgia) State investigators' findings of higher than normal levels of radiation and sealing of debris inside building on site 2 years ago mentioned. Recent camera shot of hole in building, admissions of neighborhood residents that they've gone into facility and state report that it knew of no such hole detailed. State photograph of site shown; cementing of hole noted. State's measures to correct situation outlined, incl. check for high levels of radioactivity by same team that investigated fallen USSR satellite in Canada, hired for job by Nuclear Regulatory Commission
