(Studio) Legionnaires' disease outbreak at American Legion convention in Philadelphia in 1976 recalled. Convention's return to city this year reported.

(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) Studies of Legionnaires who came into contact with diseases detailed. [Disease victim Thomas PAYNE - had no qualms about coming to Philadelphia.] Allentown, Pennsylvania, physician's study of Legionnaires presently at convention detailed. [Dr. Gary LATTIMER - reports findings that some men had indications of having had disease, but had never been diagnosed as having it.] Lattimer's belief that permanent lung damage may have resulted from disease stated.
