(Rome, Italy) Events of day in Rome outlined. Mourners' passage thru grotto of Saint Peter's Basilica at Vatican, where Pope is buried reported Cardinals mentioned as possible successor to Paul include: Sergio Pignedoli; Giovanni Benelli, who is Archbishop of Florence and considered Pope Paul's favorite; Sebastiano Baggio; Johannes Willebrands of Netherlands; and Eduardo Pironio of Argentina. News conference held by group of American Catholics calling selves Committee for the Responsible Elec. of the Pope noted. [Father Andrew GREELEY - comments on type of man needed as Pope.]
