Hassan Jafari noted to be Khomeini follower who was in doctoral program at North Texas State Univ. before coming to France to help in Iranian cause. [JAFARI - says in Islam there is no difference in church and state.] Demonstrations in Tehran mentioned. Other factors involved in anti-Shah sentiment, besides religious views, outlined. Khomeini's statements about Islamic government policies given. Interview with Khomeini detailed. Khomeini's present home in exile cited to be in Neufchateau, France, where actress Brigitte Bardot once lived.
