(DC) Interior Secretary Cecil Andrus' response to department herpetologist Kenneth Dodd's letter to Dominique's Restaurant with regard to near extinction of particular species of rattlesnake being served in restaurant noted; letters shown. Andrus rptd frequenter of Dominique's. [DODD - says his firing is ridiculous.] Texas rattlesnake said flow being served. [Dominique D'ERMO - comments on mixed feelings about publicity; regrets that someone lost his job over issue.] [ANDRUS - says he has no comment.] Dodd's last performance rating mentioned.
