(Studio) Israeli cabinet decision to expand 7 settlements in west bank but not to allow seizure of private Arab land for that expansion reported; demonstrations by Jewish settlers today against decision noted.

Response to squatters by Israeli army outlined; government response with regard to necessity for extensive w bank settlements as defense against Palestinian state there cited. Knesset debate over issue and pressure on Prime Min. Menahem Begin with regard to settlement issue reported.
