(Studio) Report on one and perhaps more, radioactive dumps in Denver.
REPORTER: Tom Brokaw
(Denver, Colorado) Robertson Brick Company reported built on site of old uranium dumping ground that is still hot with radioactivity. Radiation levels said not immediate threat to brick company employees' health; plans to test employees noted. Environmental Protection Agency officials' comment on general lack of knowledge of dump quoted. Suspicions that there are other such forgotten dumps in other states and in Denver detailed.
