(DC) Possible increase in consumer fuel costs due to closing of Maine Yankee and 4 other nuclear power plants noted; film shown. Mtg. of Virginia utility companies and engineers involved in construction of plants noted, as well as Senate committee hearing with regard to situation. [NRC spokesperson Harold DENTON - explains rationale for plant closings.] Virginia Elec.'s statement re: customers paying additional cost and Senator Gary Hart's response noted. [Virginia Elec. Power Corporation spokesperson E. Ashby BAUM - responds to Hart with regard to cost of fuel passed on to customers.] [HART - comments.]
