(Madrid, Spain) Spain's move from facism under General Francisco Franco to current democracy attributed to Juan Carlos; films shown. Domestic opposition to Spanish government's effort to join NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) said alluded to by Carter in his luncheon remarks. [President CARTER - reads statement in Spanish.] Other issues discussed by President in mtgs. with Suarez and with opposition party leader Felipe Gonzales noted; Carter's sightseeing activities featured.
