(Boston, Massachusetts) Drinan's campaign efforts for Barney Frank, opposed by Arthur Clark and Humberto Cardinal Medeiros' efforts for anti-abortion cand. examined; Medeiros' letter, published in Catholic newspaper and read in pulpits, quoted in part on screen. [Monsignor William GRANVILLE - reads cardinal's statement.] Drinan said refusing to respond to cardinal's letter. [DRINAN, FRANK - comment.] Position Drinan finds self in noted.
