(Studio) Air Force reported possibly taking nuclear warhead that had been on Titan II missile that exploded in Arkansas away from silo site.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(Little Rock AFB, Arkansas) Air Force caravan from missile site to Little Rock Air Force Base examined; films shown. [Sheriff Gus ANGLIN - comments.] Possibility that warhead was removed earlier and that convoy was simply public relations scheme considered. [Arkansas public safety director Sam TATUM - comments.] Air Force said planning to meet with area residents to discuss general situation.
