(Studio) President Reagan's address at meeting of NAM reported.
REPORTER: John Chancellor
(DC) [REAGAN - expresses disappointment with some actions of business community.] Deficit, taxes noted. [REAGAN - says private credit will be aided by tax cuts.] Incr. in personal savings and decline in inflation termed by Reagan signs of economy recovery. Senior White House aides quoted with regard to not expecting recovery until interest rates decline. Need for compromise said noted by these.
