(Studio) Apollo X astronauts Tom Stafford, John Young, and Eugene Cernan halfway there.

(ABC Space Hdqtrs.) [STAFFORD - tells where clouds occur.] [YOUNG - introduces mascots, Charlie Brown and Snoopy.] Stafford and Young show weightlessness. Stafford plays tape of "Fly Me to the Moon."

(Studio) Senator Edward Kennedy urges monetary cutback of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) program after exploring moon achieved. Says budget should help problems at home. Speaks at dedication of Massachusetts library for space pioneer Robert Goddard. Moscow radio wishes astronauts good luck and says they're risking lives with faulty equipment.
