(Studio) President Nixon says Vietnam war settlement to include prisoners of war exchange. Secretary Laird begins campaign to bring home POWs.

(DC) Laird lists 5 demands for Hanoi: release names; free wounded; allow inspections; proper treatment; and exchange of mail. [LAIRD - says afraid POWs not being treated humanely.] Nothing known of captives except from North Vietnam photos, which show lack of proper care.
