(Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, MD) Background of wildlife artist Maynard Reese's interest in wildlife and art given. [REESE - outlines observation of geese as subjects for paintings and methods of completing paintings.] Successes Reese has had in painting listed, include winning United States annual duck postage stamp competition 5 times, being commissioned by Bermuda to design game fish stamps and by French firm for designs on plates. [REESE - says his painting is compulsion with him; would paint if he was starving.]
