(Studio) Report on hostage incident that has been taking place near Springfield, Ohio, today. FBI attempts to free hostage described.

(No location given) Details of incident, which began on Tuesday with bank robbery in Richmond, IN, given, include police chase over state line into Ohio and eventual halting of car near Eaton, Ohio. Photos shown. Capture of robbery suspect Robert Baker, of Springfield, Ohio, noted. Other robbery suspect, Don. Patterson, commandeered car occupied by Robert Herrmann and 2 young sons; Baker's threat against life of one boy and Herrmann given via CB radio quoted. Details of eventual agreement to release children and FBI provision of relief getaway car outlined. Correspondent notes last report available indicates FBI agents are in getaway car negotiating for Herrmann's release.
