[John GLENN - claims Mondale panders to special ints.] [MONDALE - alleges he's a feminist because he's American] [Mondale campaign chairperson James JOHNSON - implies Glenn is poor loser.] Edmund Muskie, winning most all endorsements in 1972, recalled still losing Democratic nomination. [Former Muskie aide Mark SHIELDS - claims endorsements are worthless; explains.]
