(Studio) PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Yasir Arafat's reception by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak described as fit for head of state; Israeli reaction noted. Arafat's departure from Lebanon mentioned.

(Cairo, Egypt) Arafat's break with Egypt after Anwar Sadat signed peace treaty with Israel recalled. Mubarak's comments with regard to Egyptian policies with Israel quoted. PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) sources' report noted, with regard to Arafat's possible plans to obtain support from Egypt, Jordan and Iraq to dev. plan to keep him as head of PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) and possibly to make contact with Israel. Reaction to these ideas by Arafat's followers in Tunis stated. Israel's reaction, especially re: future of West Bank, cited. [ARAFAT - hopes meeting will help Arab unit.] Potential for relations among Arabs noted.
