Cardinal Jozef Glemp's praise of Jewish resistance against Nazis quoted; resistance to Communist government `s recognition of uprising by ghetto leader Marek Edelman discussed. Edelman's role in Warsaw resistance mvt. recalled. His criticism of Communist government's hypocrisy noted. Shimon Shermier's support for remembrance ceremonies mentioned; Shermier said helping Polish government organization ceremonies. Belief by many that Polish government's motive is that of improving its international image rather than paying tribute to slain Jews considered.
