(Studio) France reported expelling large number USSR citizens for alleged espionage.

(Paris, France) Expulsion of Tass chief and other Soviet officials examined; films shown. Reaction of embassy secretary and French foreign minister noted; interior ministry said claiming those expelled were KGB operatives. Issue of USSR efforts to obtain French high tech secrets discussed; recent arrest of French ind. archivist for passing information to KGB recalled. Death of French counter-intelligence agent Colonel Bernard Nut questioned in relation to expulsion and papal assassination plot.
