(Studio) Request from Prime Min. Begin to President Sadat for resumption of direct peace talks reported; criticism of Begin's policies from opposition and some members of own government noted. United Nations Secretary General Waldheim's announcement of PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) agreement to join Israel in south Lebanon cease-fire cited. PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader reported not to have gone that far.
