(DC) President Carter's remarks with regard to steel price hikes, made at news conference in Brasilia, noted. [CARTER - calls reported steel price increase excessive and unwarranted by recent coal settlement.] [US Steel president David RODERICK - says price increase isn't put out to be rolled back.] Admin. concerns re: other economy problems, such as dollar devaluation in Tokyo and higher farm prices, outlined. Outlook for economy written by economist for Mfrs. Hanover Trust Company quoted.
