(Studio) President Carter's arrival in Lagos, Nigeria, and reports that he may meet with Rhodesian guerrilla leader Joshua Nkomo and other black African leaders there reported Carter's human rights gesture prior to departure from Brazil noted.

(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) Carter's meeting with opponents of Brazil's military government, at Rio mayor's residence, detailed; Brazilian cardinal Paulo Arns' trip to airport with Carter and family noted. President and Mrs. Carter's moonlight cruise off Copacabana Beach and attendance at nightclub on Thursday night described. Is noted that today is 14th anniversary of military coup that overthrew freely elected government in Brazil.
