(Long Beach, California) Mrs. Ford's earlier statement that she had drug problem causing her entry in Navy's alcohol and drug rehabilitation center noted. Her statement today, read by family spokesperson, that she also has alcohol problem reported [Spokesperson Bob BARRETT - reads statement from Mrs. Ford, re: drug and alcohol addiction and treatment at Long Beach Naval Hospital.] [Physician Dr. Joseph PURSCH - discusses treatment program for Mrs. Ford.] Gerald Ford's attendance at hospital classes in order to aid wife upon her release.
