(Studio) State Department reported denying visa to USSR Olympic team official.

(DC) State Department's denial of visa for Oleg Yermishkin, colonel in KGB, examined; photos shown. Concern over intelligence opportunities afforded him in the Los Angeles, California, region during summer Olympics explained. [State Department spokesperson John HUGHES - claims Olympic attaches should be just that.] USSR said told in December of Yermishkin's unacceptability. [Los Angeles Olympic committee spokesperson Peter UEBERROTH - doesn't believe USSR will boycott Olympics.]
