(Studio) China having trouble with Singapore.

(Singapore) Bank of China useful ideological weapon for Communists Its activities and policies government controlled. Singapore P.Min. Lee Kuan Yew tough, shrewd; trades with both sides. Lee clashes with Bank-of China; fines it for lack of liquid assets. Bank won't pay. No place in Singapore allowed to honor its checks. If Lee closes bank, will-lose valuable trading partner and China will lose useful foothold in S.E. Asia.
