(Alexandria, Egypt) Vance's talks in Israel outlined. [VANCE - will devote all efforts to reach comprehensive and lasting peace.] Secretary's attempts to keep Egypt from going to Arab summit, as Saudi Arabia would like, thus dealing death blow to President Anwar Sadat's peace initiative stated. Unofficial reports of invitation to Sadat from President Carter for trip to DC, possibly 3-way summit with Begin.incld., and that Vance will soon return to Mideast outlined.
