(NYC: James Polk) Marcos reported charged with embezzling funds from Philippines government coffers and attempting to hide that money by purchasing NYC real estate. [US attorney Rudolph GIULIANI - comments on indictments.] Khashoggi's role in crimes detailed. White House spokesperson Marlin Fitzwater quoted on screen with regard to President Reagan's reaction to indictments. [Philippines foreign secretary Raul MANGLAPUS - comments.] Marcos noted also hiding money in Swiss bank accts. [Corazon Aquino's attorney Ron OLSON - comment on funds being returned to Philippines.] [Marcos attorney Richard HIBEY - says charges are false.] [GIULIANI - says if Marcos attempts to leave his home, he will be arrested.] Marcos noted ordered to surrender in federal court on October 31.
