(NYC) [GALLAGHER - says asked to be relieved of duties as CCNY President Social frustrations pushed oncoming college generation into activism beyond immediately unattainable goals.] Blacks refused to deal with him for last week Gallagher was once the youngest college president of an all-black college. Successor should read his book: "Color and Conscience: the Irrepressible Conflict."
