(Studio) Italian financier Michele Sindona reported questioned by FBI today re: his mysterious disappearance and equally perplexing reappearance yesterday in NYC; background on Sindona given.
REPORTER: Max Robinson

(NYC) Sindona's health status stated; questions surrounding his disappearance and alleged link with Mafia examined. Incl. in report are Pope Paul VI, Watergate complex; murder of Milan attorney Georgia Embrizoli while investigating finances of Sindona bank recalled. Chgs. against Sindona in bankruptcy of Franklin National Bank detailed; his disappearance recalled. Photos shown. Wife and son reported insisting Sindona kidnapped. [Nino SINDONA - asks why father would have returned unless he had been kidnapped.] Results of today's questioning of Sindona said unknown.
