[MAN - says the dead are our heroes.] Troops reported patrolling streets seeking any still loyal to Nicolae Ceausescu; scenes shown. [Second MAN - wishes we could have real Christmas celebration.]

(Studio: John Cochran) Denial by Iran of report from Hungary that Iranians and Libyans were fighting in Romania noted. Romania television reported stating that Syrians and Palestinians were fighting on side of Ceausescu's forces.
