(DC: Carl Stern) Judge Gerhard Gesell reported sending jurors home after former aide to Oliver North, Robert Owen, testified. North's attorney Brendan Sullivan noted producing classified documents that mention names of Costa Rican officials. [Christic Institution spokesperson Larry SINKIN - says these documents were made available to public last year] Sullivan quoted with regard to government's claim to keep these memos classified. Govt. attys. noted asserting that secrecy re: Owen memos can be dropped. Gesell quoted with regard to future secrecy demands made by government (Artist: Betty Wells)
