(Baghdad: Tom Aspell) Offer from Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to release all foreign hostages in return for pledge from United States that it will not attack Iraq featured; scenes shown of four Americans (Michael Barner, Raymond Gales, Randall Trinh and Abdul Khanji) and three French soldiers who were released. Foreign dignitaries, including former Japanese prime minister Yasuhiro Nakasone, seeking freedom for their nationals, shown arriving in Baghdad.
