(DC) Details given about farmers blocking of rush hour traffic in morning. [MAN - kind of agrees, but wishes demonstration had been on Sunday] Violence between police and farmers near Capitol noted. Congress lobbying by farmers reported; congress reaction, from agriculture area representatives and those from urban areas, stated. [Representative Peter PEYSER - says way farmers see to get profit is too costly for people in this part of cntry.] Farmers' comments about President Carter's continued statements about farmers' well-being mentioned. [Texas farmer Gerald McCATHERN - says Carter may need reminding with regard to life of farmer.] Plans for further demonstrations in DC cited. Predictions by one economy with regard to results if farmers achieve success noted.
