(Jerusalem: John Dancy) Meeting of Secretary of State James Baker with the new Israeli government headed by Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who won on a platform of change, featured; scenes shown; details given of freeze on new Jewish settlements in the occupied territories. [BAKER - comments.] Group of Congressmen led by Representative Charles Schumer noted sending President Bush a letter urging him to extend loan guarantees to Israel.

(Studio: Garrick Utley) Baker said saying neither yes nor no to whether he would take over running the Bush campaign.
