(Studio) Supreme Court decision against alimony law in Alabama reported.

(DC) Decision by justices with regard to alimony for wife only as being sexually discriminating noted. William Brennan noted to have written majority opinion. Lawsuit reported brought by William Orr of Alabama; reasons given. [ORR - comments.] Reconsideration of case by lower courts stated. Reaction to Court decision cited. [ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) spokesperson Isabelle KATZ-PINZLER - comments.] NOW endorsement of Court decision mentioned. Status of present legislature in most states with regard to alimony examined.
