(White House: Andrea Mitchell) The Middle East peace agreement between Israel and the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) that will be signed in Washington on Monday featured. [President CLINTON - says he will resume the dialogue with the PLO.] Possibility that PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Yasir Arafat will come for the signing mentioned. [PLO strategist Nabil SHAATH - makes joke.] [Representative Thomas FOLEY - talks about contributions.] The possibility of peace between Israel and Jordan and Syria mentioned.

(Studio: Tom Brokaw) Report introduced.

(Jerusalem: Dennis Murphy) The opposition on both sides to the peace accord examined; scenes shown of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin signing pact recognizing the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) as representative of the Palestinian people and of protests by Israelis and by fundamentalist Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. [RABIN - comments.] [Israeli opposition leader Benjamin NETANYAHU - doubts Arafat's word.] The need for Arafat to sell the deal to West Bank Palestinians and for Rabin to sell the accord to Israeli hard-liners noted.

(Studio: Tom Brokaw) PLO's ruling council reported agreeing to Palestinian self-rule in the Gaza Strip and Jericho, West Bank.

(Jericho, on the Israeli-occupied West Bank: Martin Fletcher) The future for Palestinians in Jericho featured; scenes shown from the city while the changes that will take place and the need for massive foreign investment in Jericho are reviewed.
