(Waco, Texas: Jim Cummins) The first anniversary of the final assault by federal agents on the Branch Davidian cult compound in Waco, Texas, featured; March 8, 1993, 80 minute home video of David Koresh shown. [Sheriff's department Jack HARWELL - recalls the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raid.] Various scenes of the cult compound shown. The Justice Department's report praising the government's handing of the standoff mentioned. [Harvard University violence expert Alan STONE - says the government ignored the psychology of the people inside the compound.] [Harvard Center for the Study of World Religions Dr. Lawrence SULLIVAN - says an expert on religion could have helped.] The problem of trying to identify those dead in the compound reviewed.
